Consulting/ Planning:
These services can be
provided through an Interim Executive or as a third party project. The
deliverable is usually a written document and/or a presentation delivered to
those contracting the work and their designates. Steps in the process include:
project definition, available information gathering, interview internal
contributors, research, analyze, asses, document, report and recommend.
Many types of plans are a
necessary part of business. We can do Business Plans, Strategic, Marketing,
Operating, Technology/Network plans and related specialized plans.
Once again, a focused
resource leading the process is often the best way to get the plans done even
though much of the input will necessarily come from current staff. Planning is
hard to think about when shorter-term challenges are a big part of every day. A
dedicated, experienced resource can create momentum, provide the framework for
input and make the most efficient use of peoples’ time when they are needed to
contribute.
Consulting can also include
a review of current operating systems and procedures. This may be part of an ISO
process or just a desire to run the business better, with more efficiency and
fewer mistakes.
